Hello everyone. Despite all the tinkering I do with the computer I'm new to this kind of social networking so please forgive any silly questions I may ask about how things work.

I'm a Spanish>English translator living in Barcelona. My main area of specialization is Art, but I also work with design and architecture and I'd like to make some contacts with people who are working with the same language pairs or the same field.

I'm also really interested in Open source software and I'd like to hear about other people's experiences working as a translator using open source software.
