Actually, 3 out of 4 audio documents in the "music" box on my
profile page are spoken. Some further info about each (as what I added in the "further information" part of the descriptions doesn't show):
- Lawrence Lessig: Fighting for Free Culture. His keynote address at Wikimedia 2006. Downloaded from the homonymous post dated August 4, 2006 on Andy Carvin's blog, which also contains Andy Carvin's notes on the address.
- ¿Qué será? . Republican song from the Spanish Civil War. The site from which I downloaded a whole anthology of these songs seems to have disappeared, but Altavoz del Frente - Canciones has a great selection.
- Charles Nesson: Solomon and the Law Lord. From his 2006 Evidence course at Harvard. Downloaded from 2006 Audio - Cyberone wiki.
- Orson Welles on Story-telling. Brief excerpt from Theatre of the Imagination (1988)
(A radio special about the Mercury Theatre on the Air hosted by Leonard Maltin, featuring interviews with the surviving members.) The broadcast - and most radio plays directed by Orson Welles - can be downloaded from The Mercury Theatre on the Air.
OK OK, I'll have some lighter stuff too ;-)
