I am Jacken Zheng, a professional conference interpreter and translator. I have been working with Newsweek and MIT Technology Review as a translator. I focus on research of business English, translation and interpretation, legal English, and international business contracts. With more than 6 years of experience in translation and interpretation, I have served the Ministry of Finance of China, the Canadian Embassy to China, ADB, IBM, World Bank, Beijing Bank, China Construction Bank, WWF, Nokia, DDI, Teck Cominco, Ipsos, China Mining and other organizations in over 100 sessions of international conferences, forums, negotiation, and training. I have provided simultaneous interpretation to senior officials and execs including a vice chairman of CPPCC, Maurice F. Strong, the former under secretary-general of the UN, John Rutledge, the economic adviser to Bush and Reagan administrations, and Prof. Robert A. Mundell, the winner of Nobel Prize for Economics in 1999.
